The DRC holds most of the forest in the world. It is ranked second after Brazil. It attracts both public and private investors around the world to undertake forest exploiting. In order to make it attractive, the Congolese forest sector is governed by a number of laws, regulations, and policies that regulate the conditions under which a forestry activity is carried out.

According to the Forest Code, the forests are subdivided into 3 categories especially: permanent production forests, classified forests and local community forests.

  • Advising clients to apply and obtain full range of licenses, cutting permits, certificates relating to forest sector;
  • Advising and drafting the forestry concessions agreements, social clauses of specifications and agreement protocol;
